Job Description

Monitor the transportation’s of all commodities from warehouse to the final distribution points

To monitor that all type of loss from loading, off-loading, transporting, storing and distribution are properly documented and reported.

To monitor the stock of commodities in comparison with records (sock register).

Make sure physical counts of the warehouse is taken & dispatched on a fortnight basis

Monitor that information concerning food distribution schedules are disseminated well in advance to the relevant beneficiary.

Assist and monitor that appropriate distribution of commodities to eligible recipients/beneficiaries according to the approved distribution plan and as per ration size.

Randomly monitor the distributed commodities with beneficiaries after received from the distribution points.

Monitor that all non-distributed commodities at the end of the distribution period are documented and returned to the warehouse, accompanied with a waybill.

Ensure all commodity dispatch, delivery, distribution and loss documents are made correctly.

Follows all Save the Children policies and procedures.

Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  

Handle and implement IBEX project related activities as assigned, mainly consisting of facility, process and equipment upgrade, improvement, evaluation, modernization and replacement. Contribute to the effective completion of sub-projects by leading teams, managing complex studies and providing consultation to other departments in order to ensure appropriate quality, cost effective, timely execution and full compliance in the scope of IBEX Project.

Ensure that EHS is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures is strictly maintained.

Develop and/or review project scope, schedules, reviews technical specification; prepare bid packages and estimates for review by requester and/or management to determine project feasibility.

Provide and/or review design layouts, preliminary drawings, and cost estimates of different solutions/bids which can fulfill project objectives.

Perform comparison cost analysis and evaluation charts/graphics and recommends the most suitable and cost effective one to the management for decision. Update management on project status to allow for proper coordination. Collect data and make calculations by applying standard analytical techniques to ensure system improvements and review with supervisor when complete.

In cooperation with Project Controller, submit properly prepared capital requests and other required substantiating data and information. Upon approval, develop a project plan covering all aspects related to project organization, design and implementation criteria, cost and schedule control, review process and milestones.

Test, troubleshoot, and evaluate equipment, processes, systems, and facilities by understanding requirements and reporting findings and recommendations to supervisor for decision making.

Establish professional and team working relationship with peers and partners within and outside the department including PMIE & TS Asia to develop others’ confidence in his/her communication skills and abilities.

Prepare or supervise preparation of equipment specification, drawings and purchase requisitions for equipment and contract services. Ensure compliance of contractors and/or project team members with company safety and labor relation policies.

Coordinate with end-user during project preparation and execution to ensure complete agreement of the project elements.

Be in line with forecasted budget and schedule at the end of the project implementation with maximum flexibility without compromising safety issues.
