PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Leading both office based teams of Drilling Engineers (Planning & Operations) in drilling department to ensure successful accomplishment of all tasks & responsibilities assigned by Head Drilling regarding drilling & workover operations, well planning, procurement of drilling inventory and hiring of services in all operated blocks. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
Supporting manager drilling for daily drilling/work over operations management, optimization and decision making regarding operated and non-operated assets.
Responsible for arranging drilling inventory & services in line with approved work program and ensuring the availability of LLI in timely manners. Monitoring the same activity in non-operated assets. Optimization of new/future Contracts/tenders through the lessons learnt during ongoing/last contracts’ execution.
Responsible for quality assurance on both (operations & planning) drilling engineering teams output work especially in preparing presentations for BRM, TCM/OCM, FCM, budgets, AFE’s, & various reports to be sent to JV’s.
Responsible for delivering Fit-For-The-Purpose Well’s Designs & Plans, specialized job procedures etc for all the wells in MOL operated blocks in line with Drilling Manager’s instructions. Reviewing the same for non-operated assets.
Preparing & updating yearly and long term Work Programs. Maintaining reliable interface with SOD, Exploration, Reservoir and other MOL support departments. Preparing & reviewing Standard Policies & Procedures for Well Designs & Constructions.
Responsible for the relevant correspondence and communication with JV’s & HO along with manager drilling to secure approval. Reviewing & quality assurance on the responses prepared by drilling teams for JVP’s and HO queries. Ensuring timely issuance & reviewing of miscellaneous notices, letters to relevant authorities before each well commencement and upon each rig release.
Updating personal Drilling Engineering, Drilling Software, interpersonal, communication and management skills. Assisting Manager Drilling in the performance evaluation of the department and its office based drilling staff.
Ensure complete compliance to MOL Mission Statement, SD& HSE policy and procedures and give necessary inputs to upgrade the already existing standards.
EDUCATION/GRADUATION:B. Sc Petroleum Engineering (Minimum)

SPECIAL QUALIFICATION:
IWCF Certified.
Min. two relevant courses per year should be taken to improve his technical & management skills.
