Executive Core Network Design Job In Warid Telecom Lahore
Job Purpose:
To work in a supporting role for GSM Core Network design activities. Provide support to line in formulation of new design for core network switching capacity expansion, network modifications and development and enabling of network services
Job Responsibilities:
To actively support at all times, company policies and best practices in the area of legal and regulatory compliance, relying on ones own knowledge or specialist support when necessary.
To actively support, at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security and information confidentiality, with particular emphasis on protection of sensitive customer information.
Provide technical assistance in core switching and services network strategy, design and architecture ensuring efficient, cost effective and futuristic approach.
Propose plans for architectural changes and core switching network dimensioning and routing to fulfill Warid business short term and long term requirements.
Identify and assess network impact due to new and emerging services, features, protocols and propose modifications in network architecture and formulate core network integration designs.
Ensure integrity and performance of core switching network and its further development in accordance with the devised strategy.
Analysis of possible anomalies followed by devising strategies to propose possible remedies.
Assess network impact due to changes imposed by new standards & regulatory bodies and.
Ensure existing switching network capabilities and new changes meet network KPIs.
Provide technical assistance to projects and O&M teams to ensure effective delivery of switching and services solutions.
Maintain and develop E.164 MSIDN/NDC numbering plan for Warid.
Preparation of design documents for integration of new services as and when required.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of GSM core switching network architecture and interfaces.
Basic understanding of GSM nodes functions.
Basic understanding of IP network including MPLS.
Analytical and logical approach to work.
Excellent English communication skills.
