Education Officer Job In Plan International Pakistan Islamabad

Job Purpose:

The Education Officer will provide technical support from planning to implementation toward quality educational programmes/projects He/She will ensure that the children?s rights and welfare are prioritized and that Plan?s Child Centered Community Development approach is part of all programme activities.

What does the jobholder plan?

Plans local lesson learning and exchange.

What are the outputs and deliverables?

Provide technical support. Develop technical POs with the assistance of the team members and CDOs and ensure outputs are delivered as per PO

Build the capacities of various institutions and individuals. Design and conduct training for PTAs. Organize trainings for teachers.

Organize, manage and monitor ECCD. Support team to Sehat suitable volunteers for running AL & HFE classes. Coordinate with partner NGOs to organize training of AL&NFE teachers. Conduct refreshers and monthly meetings for AL&NFE teachers. Monitor NFE & AL centers. Design and conduct trainings and refreshers for caregivers.

Assist team in the implementation of quality ECCD programme. Orient committees about ECCD Programme. Provide team with technical support for buying materials required for ECCD Centre.

Coordinate with NGOs, GOs, for implementing educational projects.

Keep Plan management informed about the various educational activities and produce reports and documents. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Analyze daily reports submitted by A.E.O.

Qualifications and Experience

Advanced University Degree (Masters or equivalent) in Education or Development Studies.

A minimum of three years of progressive work experience in the education sector.
